December 24, 2008 – Ervin & Smith Advertising and Public Relations was presented with four Awards of Excellence and one Award of Merit during the PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards Gala on December 11, 2008, at the Hilton Omaha.
Paper Anvil Awards are presented each year to local companies, organizations and individuals who meet the stated goals and achieve results for its work in the field of public relations. This year, Ervin & Smith received accolades in the “Op Ed/Byline Articles” category for its work with the College of Saint Mary Women’s Issues Op Ed piece and national HR consultant Cy Wakeman’s PINK Magazine byline article series. Ervin & Smith was also honored in the “Electronic Media” category for the TD AMERITRADE Spotlight and in the “Web Site” category for its work in launching and developing the AMTD.com online media room. The agency also received an award in the “Special Purpose Publications” category for its work on the ICAN Editorial Spread for PINK Magazine.
